About the Event
What's this event about?
This 3 hr workshop has been designed to inspire a new way of listening to our bodies and taking control back in how we respond to our body’s wants and needs. As women we often spend years fighting our bodies and appetite, wishing we could control it and sometimes hating it. And often we’re at war with ourselves whilst parenting and worry about what kind of an example we’re setting. It can feel like a lot dealing with your own battle, not to mention the shame and guilt parenting can put on top of that. This workshop will teach you how to understand how the mind and body works so that you can work with it instead of against it.
What can I expect on the day?
The workshop will run in two main parts:
- Moving Meditation: an open level yoga flow to get you out of your head and back in your body
- Psychology + Neuroscience: in this educational section you will learn the mechanisms behind the mind and body and how you can use them to your advantage instead of blindly bumping up against yourself in your own pursuit of health.
Who is the event for?
For any woman that feels like their relationship with food is a challenging one.
